Thursday, February 8, 2007 Nailbat Begins #19 So I'm experimenting with tiny bits of color in the comic. I still intend to keep antibunny and by extension Nailbat as a primarilly black and white comic, but a tiny splash of color in an otherwise gray image can be useful to call attention to a particular detail. I've already drawn AntiBunny strips which use splashes of color, which you'll see later in chapter 3 and 4, but since Nailbat is drawn far less in advance, this is where you'll see it first. Now story wise this comic is signifficant, not so much to Mors but to the world of Gritty City. Here you learn that it was once a gold mining town, near the mountains. Mors is actually standing on the same cliff in the first panel that Piago would later jump her Vespa off of in AntiBunny Chapter 3. I actually have a whole map for the city and surrounding areas drawn up, so I'll do my best to maintain visual continuity. Return to ARCHIVE | |||||
