Thursday, June 14, 2007 Nailbat Begins #36 If you didn't like the ink brush art style used for the flashbacks, I have good news, this is the last one for a while. I know it's hard to tell what's happening in panel one. Darkness is supposed to be blocking bullets with his arm, but I did everything far too dark, so it comes out as a blob. More importantly this strip explains a lot about Darkness, and the legacy Nailbat is taking on. Originally I was planning to have Ubermensch dissolve like Gotterdammerung last week, but with two dissolvy deaths already, I decided to go with the standing death. Lastly if you look closely at the last panel you'll see Lightbringer and Mind Mistress have shown up to pay respects to the fallen Ubermensch. Return to ARCHIVE | |||||
