Thursday, June 21, 2007 Nailbat Begins #37 And now we're back to the old art style. And yet again the AntiBunny cast makes an appearance, standing up to the guy who'd slapped around Penelope way back in the second strip of Nailbat Begins. This also just happens to show how Pooky and Penelope met, and the roots of Penelope's infatuation with Pooky. Nailbat may have saved her but it was Pooky who taught her to stand up for herself. You see a bit of the temper she'd learned to let out, back in chapter 2 as well. Lastly there's a cameo here by Robert Bunny of Turtle vs. Bunny and one more appearance by Smudgie as well.
