Thursday, August 9, 2007 Nailbat Begins #44 Today Runo gets a proper introduction, and if you haven't noticed he pretty much has to punch something whenever he shows up. More importantly Malphas makes his appearance. I knew I had to go all out on this one, so you can see I spent a ton of time on the shading, using more passes and more shades of grey. I think it helps drive home how grim the last panel is to have the deeper grays and blacks in the art. In general I'm fairly happy with how this strip came out. Even the car which normally I can't draw without a refference.....well except panel two. I hate panel two, but thankfully it's not an important one. As you can tell this is the final confrontation, and I think the outcome will surprise you.. Return to ARCHIVE | |||||
