Thursday, August 30, 2007 Nailbat Begins #47 So you probably didn't see that coming, and I do love throwing curve balls. This is Nailbat Begins after all. If he won the first time around there'd be no story left to tell. Knell's line at the end was inspired by an episode of the JLA series (or perhapse it was the slightly older Superman animated series) in which after being defeated and dethroned by superman Darkseid is picked up and carried to safety by his subjects and states. "I am many things, but here I am God." This shows just how deep Knell both admires and fears Malphas, and why when she's aparently in an abusive situation she'd still never leave him. If that doesn't drive the point home, I don't know what will. We're almost at the end. Just a little bit of epilogue left now.. Return to ARCHIVE | |||||
